People ask about the “Parkview” name and that comes from the street I lived on when as a kid, I first fell in love with photography. My father was a wedding photographer and I used to tag along to see what he did and it looked like the coolest thing! It was great to see his interaction with people and how he made them feel so at ease and happy with his skills. I looked up to him for years for what he did.

As a teen I picked up a point-and-shoot camera and took it with me everywhere I went. I took pictures at all the family gatherings and vacations. It was great to see the power of documenting everything with great photos. But I wanted more.

After getting married, I purchased my first SLR camera and was overjoyed at the image quality. I attended a friends wedding and again enjoyed taking photos to look back on later. When I showed my friends the photos from the wedding, they were pleased with the photos and wanted copies. Another friend said that I should consider doing it professionally. So I did a few of my friends and close family members to show on a website I built. I received such praise for my images that I then took their advise and started learning photography and like they say – the rest is history!
